Walnut Grill

We went here during lunch time, I ordered the jumbo lump crab cakes and my wife ordered the roasted beet salad. I know it was lunch time and all, but I received one 2.5in dia. Crab cake and some rice pilaf or something like that, and a small house salad. The food was really good, don't get me wrong, but I guess I'm a fat American as I thought that there should have been two crab cakes. Especially when the other people's lunch servings at my table had larger portion sizes. Service was fine, except for at one point the server popped up behind me and reached over my shoulder to hand something to someone across the table and pretty much spoke directly into my ear to tell them something about their dish. I jumped halfway out of my chair from being startled by their hot words on my face.

The mule specials were a BIG BIG hit. Never had a bad experience there. Waitress was knowledgeable and fast for our party size.

The best waiter. The best meal. I had a cod fish sandwich. It was amazingly good. Definitely 5 stars. It's very usual when order g a fish sandwich to get a regular commercial shaped piece of fish that looks like it just came out of a box from the freezer. This was a huge whole fillet of battered fish. It was the best fish sandwich ever. I asked for no bread bun and instead the waiter asked if I'd like cheese on so I had Swiss cheese on top.
